Booking Policies

  • Reserving your Date

  • I kindly ask that all communication be directly with the bride. A $100 nonrefundable/non-transferable deposit and signed contract is required at the time of booking to reserve your date. If you cancel under ANY circumstance the deposit is non-refundable. Since this is non-transferable, if you need to change your wedding date, you will need to put a new deposit down for the new date. The deposit will be deducted from the final balance. At Braids by Emily Drew, I will not book more than one wedding per day when you reserve your date.

  • Bridal Trials

  • Bridal trials are exclusive to brides and your wedding date must be reserved prior to having a bridal trial. Bridal trials are separate from wedding day services. They are not included in the wedding day rate and not applicable to the service minimum. A bridal trial is not required but highly recommended. If you are unable to do a trial, we will add additional time to the wedding day service to ensure a smooth styling process. If you would like to do a trial, I recommend scheduling your trial 2-4 months prior to your wedding date.

  • Service Minimum

  • All wedding bookings must meet a five service minimum of the bride + four. Bridal trials are not applicable to the service minimum. If you are unable to meet the service requirements, the bride will be responsible for covering the balance or filling in the spot of a cancelled service. I require all bridal party members a 45 minute appointment time per person and the bride 1-1 1/2 hour appointment time.

  • Rates and Payment

  • All rates posted are final and non-negotiable. Desired hairstyle, hair length, or hair thickness will not result in change of price. Only contractural rates are guaranteed. Negotiating rates will result in a decline of booking.

  • Travel

  • Travel rates start at $50.00 per hour. Travel fees will be calculated based upon location at the time of inquiry.

  • Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the client’s reserved date or the client will be responsible for paying the full amount of services agreed upon in this contract.

  • Liability

  • Any allergies should be reported by the client to the hairstylist prior to hairstyling. Client agrees to release the hairstylist from liability for any complications due to allergic reaction. All products and tools will be sanitized/cleaned before each wedding.

  • Photo Release

  • Photos (and/or videos) may be taken for promotional use and advertising purposes on our website, portfolio, or social media pages.
